The Tourism Research Institute (TRI) and KTB have published the Kenya Tourism Sector Performance Report 2024, confirming 2.09 million international arrivals in 2023 — the strongest performance since 2019 and a 32% improvement on 2022.

TRI and KTB have confirmed Kenya's record 2023 full-year tourism performance — 2.09 million international arrivals and USD 2.73 billion in revenue, both the strongest figures since independence. December 2023 was Kenya's best single month for arrivals since December 2018.
