Year 1 · T1

Foundations of TV Production

Camera operation basics, studio safety, and an introduction to Kenya's television broadcast landscape.

Year 1 · T2

Studio Direction & Multi-Camera Work

Live studio direction, multi-camera coordination, and control room operation for news and studio-discussion formats.

Year 2 · T1

Field Production & Outside Broadcast

Field production technique, outside broadcast setup, and location-based programme production.

Year 2 · T2

Studio Practicum

A supervised placement producing live or recorded programme content in KSC's own working studio environment.

  • KCSE mean grade C- (minus) or equivalent
  • C (plain) in English or Kiswahili
  • Certificate holders in a related field may apply for advanced entry
  • Mature entry considered on a case-by-case basis for applicants 25 and older
