General entry requirements

Exact requirements vary by programme — check the specific diploma page for details. In general, KSC looks for:

KCSE mean grade C- or equivalent

Most diploma programmes require this as a baseline, with subject-specific grades for some departments (e.g. Mathematics and Physics for Engineering).

Advanced entry pathways

Certificate holders in a related field can often apply for advanced entry directly into a diploma's second year.

Mature entry

Applicants 25 and older without standard qualifications are considered on a case-by-case basis, based on relevant experience.
