No. Verification, the lawyer directory, and the Know Your Rights resources are all available without an account. If you file a complaint or request legal aid, we will create a lightweight record tied to your reference number so you can track your case — no full account is required.

Are these services free?

Yes. All public-facing services on this platform are free to use. LSK does not charge members of the public to verify an advocate, file a complaint, or request legal aid.

What languages are these services available in?

Currently English and Kiswahili. SMS case updates for complaints and legal aid are sent in the language you indicate when submitting your request.

What if I don't have reliable internet access?

Complaint and legal aid case tracking are available by SMS — you will receive updates at each stage without needing to revisit the platform. Branch offices are available in all 47 counties for those who prefer in-person assistance.
