Junior Golf
A pathway that starts before most children can drive a golf cart.
Muthaiga was among the first clubs in Kenya to install junior tees — both green and purple — allowing golfers aged ten and under to compete properly against their older peers rather than simply playing from adult markers.
Junior programmes run under the tutelage of the Club Professional and outside coaching partners, building a curriculum aimed at both technical skill and a genuine love of the game, with junior competitions held through the club calendar each year.

A calendar with real history behind it.
Muthaiga has hosted the Kenya Open since 1967 and remains a fixture on the country's competitive circuit — recent seasons alone have carried the club's name well beyond its own gates.
The Patron's Cup — an annual fixture on the club calendar; the 2025 staging was held on 22 August.
Nairobi District Foursomes — reclaimed by Muthaiga members in recent seasons, restoring a title with a long history at the club.
Kenya Ladies Strokeplay Championship — regularly contested by Muthaiga's women members among the club's strongest competitive results.
Safari Tour, Junior Division — a Muthaiga junior amateur has taken a leg title, a marker of the junior programme's competitive depth.
