What families actually ask us

Is there a minimum age for game drives?

Most properties set a minimum age of 6 for standard shared game drives, largely for safety and comfort reasons over long hours in a vehicle. Younger children can usually be accommodated with a private vehicle at some properties — ask your specialist about specifics.

Can we skip the early morning drives with young kids?

Yes — nothing is mandatory. Many families with younger children choose to do the early drive every other day and let everyone sleep in on alternate mornings.

What if my children are different ages with different interests?

This is common, and it's exactly the kind of thing our specialists plan around directly — often by pairing a gentler property for younger children with a more active one later in the trip for older siblings.
