Sarova Hotels is a KUC partner employer. Applicants with a KUC Diploma in Hospitality Management are prioritised. Your KUC credentials are automatically verified when you apply through this platform.

About the Role

Sarova Hotels is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Front Office Supervisor to join the team at Sarova Stanley — Nairobi's most iconic and historic luxury hotel. Operating since 1902, Sarova Stanley is the flagship property of Kenya's leading homegrown hotel group and one of East Africa's most celebrated hospitality destinations.

As Front Office Supervisor, you will be the face of Sarova Stanley's guest experience — leading a team of eight front desk agents, ensuring seamless check-in and check-out operations, managing reservations and room assignments, and delivering the high standards of personal service that have defined this property for over a century.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a KUC graduate with front office experience to take on a supervisory leadership role at one of Kenya's most prestigious hospitality addresses, with a clear pathway to Assistant Front Office Manager within 18–24 months.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the front desk team — check-in, check-out, room assignments, and guest communication
  • Lead, train, and motivate a team of 8 front desk agents, setting daily objectives and conducting performance briefings
  • Manage VIP arrivals and departures, ensuring special attention and personalised service for priority guests
  • Handle guest escalations, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and a service-recovery mindset
  • Oversee Opera PMS operations — reservations management, room blocking, rate management, and daily audit procedures
  • Coordinate with Housekeeping, F&B, and Reservations departments to ensure smooth room assignments and guest experience flow
  • Manage shift handovers, maintaining accurate records and briefing incoming team members on outstanding guest requirements
  • Upsell room upgrades, hotel services, and dining experiences — contributing to the property's revenue performance
  • Ensure compliance with Sarova brand standards, safety procedures, and the hotel's quality management system
  • Prepare daily front office reports for the Front Office Manager and contribute to monthly departmental performance reviews
