KMFRI's Annual Nile Perch Stock Assessment for Lake Victoria, published today, finds current spawning stock biomass at 71% of the 2020 reference level. The report recommends maintaining existing LVFO minimum mesh size regulations and increasing effort monitoring on gill net fleets.
