Eligibility & application process

Applicants must hold a degree from a recognised university, completed within the last 2 years, with a minimum of Second Class Upper Division (or equivalent). Applicants must be Kenyan citizens aged 35 or below, and must not have previously participated in a KAA internship programme.
A completed application form, copies of your academic transcripts and certificates, a national ID card copy, a recent passport photo, and a cover letter indicating your area of interest. Industrial attachment applicants should also include an introduction letter from their institution.
Graduate Internship Programme participants receive a monthly stipend for the duration of the 12-month programme. Industrial Attachment placements are typically unpaid, in line with standard academic attachment practice, though transport reimbursement may apply at certain locations.
The internship programme does not guarantee permanent employment. However, successful completion provides valuable experience, and graduates are encouraged to apply for relevant vacancies as they arise. Many former interns have gone on to secure permanent roles at KAA through the standard recruitment process.
