Safety
Built to be safe first, thrilling second.
Every session starts with a full briefing and runs under active supervision. Here's exactly what that means, in plain terms.
Before You Race
What happens before you're on track.
Full Safety Briefing
Every racer, every visit — covering flag signals, track rules, and what to do if something goes wrong.
Helmets & Race Suits
Provided at no extra charge, sized and checked before you get in a kart.
Marshalled Circuits
Trained marshals watch every session and can stop the track instantly if needed.
Age-Appropriate Karts
Younger and first-time racers are matched to speed-limited karts suited to their experience.
Regular Vehicle Checks
Karts and buggies are inspected and serviced on a fixed maintenance schedule, not just when something breaks.
By Branch
Age & requirements.
| Branch | Minimum Age | Supervision | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Two Rivers | 8+ years | Marshalled circuit, staff on-site throughout | Standard karts; closed-toe shoes required |
| Waterfront | 6+ years | Marshalled circuit, extended briefing for first-timers | Supervised option available for younger racers |
| Nanyuki Swara | 12+ (buggies) · 10+ (quads, supervised) | Guided convoy at all times | Offroad terrain — closed-toe shoes and long trousers recommended |
Health Considerations
Before you book, worth knowing.
Karting and offroad driving involve real physical movement — cornering forces, vibration, and an elevated heart rate. If you have a heart condition, are pregnant, have a recent back or neck injury, or have any concern about whether racing is right for you, we'd recommend checking with a doctor before booking.
Our staff can advise on which branch and kart type tends to suit different comfort levels, but they aren't able to give medical advice — that call is yours and your doctor's to make.
If you're booking for someone else (a group, a school, a birthday), please pass this information along so everyone can make an informed choice before arriving.
