Our Story
Karting is the vehicle. The rivalry is the point.
MadMax didn't set out to be a karting company. We set out to build a place where people could settle an argument — who's faster, who's braver, who actually backs up their talk on race day. Karting turned out to be the perfect way to do that: fast enough to feel real, safe enough for absolutely anyone to try, and honest enough that the clock never lies.
That's still the whole idea. Every lap is timed. Every result is real. And every visit is designed to end with someone having something to prove next time.
We've grown from a single circuit into three branches built for very different days out — a full entertainment hub, a family-friendly lakeside track, and an offroad adventure at the foot of Mt. Kenya. Different terrain, same obsession.
Motorsport Roots
Karting isn't a toy version of racing.
It's the actual starting point for most of motorsport. The overwhelming majority of Formula 1 world champions began their careers in karts, long before they ever sat in a single-seater — karting is where racecraft, reflexes, and a competitive eye for the apex first get built.
We take that seriously. Every kart is properly maintained, every circuit is genuinely designed to reward good driving, and every lap time we hand you is measured the same way it would be at a professional level. Whether you're racing for the first time or the fiftieth, you're doing the same thing racing drivers have always done to get started.
How We Got Here
Three branches, one obsession.
Two Rivers opens.
Our flagship floodlit circuit launches at Two Rivers Mall, Nairobi — the beginning of MadMax as a competitive karting destination.
Two Rivers becomes a full hub.
Mini golf, sim racing, PS5 gaming and gel blaster battles join the karting circuit — Two Rivers grows from a track into a full day out.
Waterfront opens.
A gentler, lakeside circuit designed specifically for families and first-timers, built to make someone's first lap feel like a win.
Nanyuki Swara opens.
MadMax goes offroad — buggies and quad trails at the foot of Mt. Kenya, a genuinely different kind of adventure.
Real digital lap timing, everywhere.
