What you do

Conduct patient consultations and physical examinations in outpatient and inpatient settings.

Diagnose common and complex conditions, order and interpret diagnostic tests.

Prescribe treatment and manage patients through recovery, including minor surgical procedures.

Coordinate with nurses, laboratory staff, and pharmacy teams on patient care plans.

Community health centres and dispensaries, often as the senior clinician on site.
