Paris-based Maison Rouge Films brought their wildlife documentary series to Kenya after using the KFC Location Database to identify Amboseli's unique Kilimanjaro backdrop. The six-week shoot employed 47 local crew members.
Wanjiku Mwangi's debut feature secured three international festival slots
After accessing KFC's Documentary Development Fund and connecting with her German co-producer through the Partner With Us portal, Wanjiku's film premiered at IDFA and was acquired for streaming across eight African territories.
Nairobi animation studio grew from 4 to 28 staff in two years
